Specialist Team Acquired for New Farm and Ranch Division Launch

Appointed as President, Joshua Lauth was previously Agribusiness Region Leader at Westfield. During his tenure there, he held various sales, underwriting, and leadership roles, expanding the company’s farm and agribusiness market presence.

As Senior Vice President, Michael Theibert was former Small Business Territory Leader at Westfield. Before that, Michael held several positions within the farm, small business, and personal lines.

Ahead of the duel acquisition, Tony Lawrence, Chief Digital Distribution Officer for Aventum Group spoke of his delight at welcoming such industry heavyweights. Acknowledging the diversity of agriculture across the United States, he said, “With the addition of this complementary team, we are building a true and broad agriculture enterprise.”

After launching in 2022 and specializing in livestock risks, Rokstone Agriculture has gone from strength to strength. Tony continued, “For distribution partners in the US, Rokstone will be a one-stop shop for Specialty Agricultural Risks with a fast and efficient service.”

Rokstone Agriculture Farm and Ranch will offer online quotes, binding Farm Owner insurance with property, liability, and motor combined. While cover will initially be on a fully admitted basis across 12 states, there are plans for nationwide expansion.

With future hopes to add more specialist products to the online farm and ranch portfolio, the division expects to reach $35 million GWP in five years. Joshua is confident in being able to achieve this. Despite other areas of the US market increasing levels of automation, Farm and Agriculture remain somewhat behind. Josh explained,
